Chromosomes can be found in nucleus which can be found in every cell where it can absorb dyes. The term is more commonly associated with being visible during cell division. A human being has forty six chromosomes where a potato has forty eight chromosomes. When chromosomes are seperated each daughter will receive a number of chromosomes and the factors are able to determine the characteristics of all living creatures and this is where the Special Chromosomes: Lampbrush Chromosomes come into play a very important part of the make up.
A chromosome is a thread like part of a cell which carries relevant information to form genes. There are two different chromosomes which are known as eukaryotic or prokaryotic. Humans are known to have twenty three pairs of these and they consist mainly of DNA.
Throughout the cell cycle chromosome's can actually change although they are very long they are also thin. During cell division they appear shorter and thicker which can be observed under the microscope.
These are distinguished from one another by their actual length and position The centomere actually lies between two chromosome arms which hold the genes as well as other DNA sequences which do not have any known functions.
In every nucleur cell in either a human or an animal it actually contains six pairs of DNA which if this was to be spread out it would measure around six feet long. Each diploid organism has a character number of Lampbrush Chromosomes which can amount to hundreds in butterflies.
In birds and some other forms of reptiles there are around thirty of forty of microchromosomes which are very small, compaired to around five or seven pairs of the regular size.
In many species of insect, plants and other creatures the number of chromosome's can literally differ because of the main presence of accessory chromosomes that can be found which are known as B chromosomes it is not actually clear what role these actually play.
In most of the mammals the sex of the individual can actually be determined by whether or not the Y chromosome is present because of the Y chromosomes carries the male SRY gene. And the more uncommon XXY individuals are actually male. It has been reported than more than nine hundred gene loci have been associated with the human X chromosome.
It was back in 1888 that Lampbrush Chromosomes and their descriptions were made by the German geneticist W. Von Waldeyer-Hartz who had described them as actual solid bodies, that are able to stain strongly by the use of dyes.
The changes of the actual appearence of these Lampbrush Chromosomes which is due to cellular life cycles which are actually caused the chromosomes functional characters and much of these types have been served as the basis of chromosome's theory of heredity.
Chromosome's are attached to the cytoplasm membrane in many different places, mainly this is by way of telomeres and also centromeres. Each chromosome has the facility to create its own copy of replication of DNA.
